14 The Official Daily Tag 1 – Dienstag 12 November 2024 Displays Wireless Communication ❚ Rafi Group Safety concept for touch displays ❚ Georg Schlegel Pushbutton with integrated display HMI specialist Rafi is showcasing solutions for intuitive touch operation and the safe transmission of highresolution multimedia and control signals Easytoinstall control and signaling devices with toolfree plugandplay connection will also be on show One new solution for example is “Safety Touch” a safety concept for touch displays up to Performance Level D “Safety Touch” is based on reliable durable hardware components redundant controller architecture and comprehensive diagnostic software The safety concept demonstrated on a reference display allows more flexibility in ergonomics and design than hardwired safety functions Control surfaces are only displayed when they are needed or available for selection Rafi is also expanding its E-Box portfolio with the “E-Box XL ” The housing concept of the E-Box XL offers space for three to six installation points and is therefore a flexible solution for different areas of application The E-Box XL is available in two versions a modular version and an IO-Link version With the “E-Box XL modular” the actuators can be assembled individually and mounted and wired manually The “E-Box XL IO-Link” on the other hand is available as a preconfigured version and simplifies integration into existing IO-Link systems The third trade fair innovation is the capacitive touch panel for machine operation which Rafi has developed and is producing for the complete machine range of all United Grinding Group brands The 23 8-inch full HD multitouch display offers an ease of use comparable to that of smartphones and was awarded a “Special Mention” for outstanding user and customer experience at the UX Design Awards ak Rafi Hall A2 Booth 341 The “Flexitast” from Georg Schlegel combines a physical pushbutton with a ZBD display 72 × 72 pixels which enables symbols and text to be displayed flexibly The display measures 26 5 × 26 5 mm 2 it retains the screen content even without a power supply The Flexitast can be used as a single button or in a network solution in which up to 128 buttons can be combined The buttons then communicate with each other via a gateway they are monitored and controlled by an external system such as a PLC or an IPC The Flexitast can be easily configured and updated in real time via a web browser Users can set various parameters such as symbols for different operating states the activation of flashing functions and the uploading of Schlegel standard symbols or their own symbols The RGB backlighting can be flexibly adjusted and texts or symbols can be highlighted in color Thanks to its robust design and protective glass panel the Flexitast is also suitable for harsh working environments It complies with protection class IP65 and is designed for a service life of 1 million switching cycles Its operating temperature ranges from –10°Cto +50°C The actuating travel is 3 mm and the contact element is tactile with two NO contacts The Flexitast is supplied with an operating voltage of 24 Vak Georg Schlegel Hall A2 Booth 324 ❚ Hy-Line EnOcean Energysaving wireless module for the IoT The valueadded distributor and solution provider Hy-Line and the manufacturer EnOcean will be presenting the EnOcean transceiver TCM 615 at their joint stand in the “Wireless Area” The transceiver radio module enables the realization of transceiver gateways actuators and controllers for systems based on the EnOcean radio standards ISO 14543-3-10 and ISO 14543-3-11 The highly integrated radio module offers secure communication functions such as encryption decryption and authentication without the need for external components Its compact dimensions of 19 mm × 14 7 mm × 30 mm make it suitable for spaceconstrained wireless applications such as relays and dimmers Compared to previous product generations the TCM 615 offers higher computing power more memory for featurerich applications and up to 50 percent less power consumption Like its predecessors the TCM 615 uses the ESP3 interface protocol It supports use in energy harvesting and lowpower applications in the temperature range from –40°Cto +85°C Because it has the same form factor design as the previous TCM 515 product it is easy to upgrade Hy-Line will also be showcasing other products from the 5G LPWAN Wi-Fi and Bluetooth sectors Solutions for Bluetooth 5 – also in combination with Wi-Fi – and products with Wi-Fi 6E in various form factors and designs will be on display In the wireless area for example 5G highspeed modules and readymade solutions will be presented Solutions for networking via CAT-M1 and NB-IoT are a highlight in the IIoT technologies area ak Hy-Line EnOcean Hall B6 Booth W02 ❚ Nisshinbo Micro Devices Absorptive high isolation SPDT switch Nisshinbo Micro Devices announces the launch of the NT1819 Absorptive High Isolation SPDT Switch The compact switch is engineered to meet the demands of modern 5G cellular infrastructure and other wireless communication applications offering superior isolation and low insertion loss across a wide frequency range 5G base stations have many antennas an SPDT switch allows selecting between two antennas or different signal paths The “absorptive” aspect of the switch means that when a port is not being used it is terminated into a load usually 50 ohms This prevents the reflection of RF signals back into the system which can cause interference or signal degradation The NT1819 provides high isolation between RF terminals of 60 dB at 3 85 GHz and 50 dB at 7 125 GHz It operates over a wide frequency range from 0 2 to 7 125 GHz supporting flexibility in design and deployment for various wireless standards The NT1819 operates at 3 3 Vwith a typical current consumption of just 200 µA It is also resilience in harsh operating environments in a broad temperature range from –40°Cto +105°Cak Nisshinbo Micro Devices Hall C3 Booth 301 361
